Principal's Message
On behalf of the High Peaks staff, I want to welcome you to our wonderful community of learners.
Our school serves approximately 250 kindergarten through 5th grade students who engage in a rich core curriculum, as well as experiences in art, music and physical education.
High Peaks Elementary is a successful BVSD school of choice. As a BVSD focus school, High Peaks has consistently demonstrated extraordinary success by providing a rigorous curriculum designed through the alignment of state and district standards, combined with the nationally-recognized Core Knowledge sequence.
The High Peaks staff is highly skilled and dedicated to meeting the needs of all our learners. Our faculty has a passion for learning and their curiosity and excitement inspires our students.
High Peaks has been the proud recipient of the National Blue Ribbon of Excellence Award three times, as well as the John J. Irwin School of Excellence designation and the Governor’s Distinguished Improvement designation in 2022.
At High Peaks, we actively partner with our families to foster a love of learning and to support our amazing teachers and children in the school.
